RDMS manage wild deer in Dorset & Hampshire. The species under management are Roe, sika, fallow and red. The habitat is varied and diverse, encompassing softwood and hard wood blocks, agricultural and marginal land.
The safe use and storage of firearms is promoted by RDMS. All clients will be asked to test shoot their rifles before commencing stalking. RDMS can provide suitable calibre rifles and ammunition for use as 'estate rifles' for accompanied stalking.
The humane treatment of deer is paramount and RDMS carry out a FOC response for Dorset Police to dispatch deer involved in road traffic incidents.
Accompanied stalking available throughout the year for cull and trophy animals.
Photography and scull preparation can be carried out for the client.
The export of client trophies to other countries is also undertaken obtaining the required certificates.
Advice can also be given on the importation of your trophies from worldwide countries into England.
RDMS is insured by NFU (National Farmers Union)
RDMS recommends the membership of BASC (The British Association for Shooting & Conservation) to all stalkers. BASC members are covered by insurance.
